The date primary ballots are mailed to absentee electors.

June 7

Primary Election (Polls open at 7 a.m., close at 8 p.m.)

October 11

Close of regular voting registration

October 12

Opening of late registration voting period

Deadline by which absentee ballots are mailed

November 8

Election Day (Polls open at 7 a.m., close at 8 p.m.)

Deadline for counties to canvass results and submit them to the Montana Secretary of State.
